I used to think successful sports forecasting depended mostly on picking winners. If I chose more correct outcomes than incorrect ones, I assumed long-term success would naturally follow. That resilience matters.
If I could give my earlier self one piece of advice, I would probably say this: stop chasing perfect predictions and start building repeatable habits around expected value, emotional control, and bankroll structure.
The next improvement rarely comes from one dramatic breakthrough. In my experience, it usually starts with a quieter decision — protecting the process before protecting the outcome.
