I want to write about farmers market. I like farmers market because it is nice. Farmers market has fresh food. It is from the farmers. I want to tell about farmers market in five places. The places are Portland, Palm Springs, Plant City, Philadelphia, and Phoenix Arizona.

First is Portland. Portland is in Oregon. People there love to eat good food. Farmers market in Portland is big. Many people come on Saturday. I see fruits and vegetables. There is bread too. Some people sell honey. Some sell flowers. It is colorful and happy. I read that many students come too. They buy fresh things for cooking. It is outside and sometimes there is music. I think Portland farmers market is very fun.

Second is Palm Springs. Palm Springs is in California. It is hot there but still nice. The farmers market in Palm Springs is smaller. But it is good. They have dates. I never see dates before. They are sweet. They also have oranges and lemons. Many people in Palm Springs like to eat healthy. I see vegetables and herbs too. There are also some art and crafts. It is cool. The market is sometimes at night because it is too hot at day. I like that idea.

Third is Plant City. Plant City is in Florida. The name is funny because it has “plant”. I think maybe it is because there are many farms. Farmers market in Plant City has many strawberries. I like strawberries. There are also jams. I see people sell pies too. The farmers are friendly. They talk to customers. I think this market is smaller than Portland but it is cozy. Many families go there on weekend. I want to try strawberry pie someday.

Fourth is Philadelphia. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania. It is a big city. But still there are farmers market. I like that. The market I read is very old. It is called Reading Terminal Market. It is inside a building. Not outside. There are many shops. Some sell cheese. Some sell meat. Some sell bread and sweets. I see also fruits and vegetables. It is busy. Many people go there to eat lunch too. I think it is good for city people who want fresh food.

Last is Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix is hot like Palm Springs. But they still have farmers market. The one I read is called Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market. It is outside and has tents. There are many colors. People sell peppers, tomatoes, and melons. I see also some bread and honey. There is music sometimes. I think Phoenix people like fresh food too. They are friendly.

I think farmers market is nice in all places. Portland has big and happy market. Palm Springs has dates and night market. Plant City has strawberries. Philadelphia has old market in a building.
