Bringing home a puppy is exciting, but the process can feel confusing at first. Knowing each step ahead of time makes it much easier.

Sweet Cream Goldens is a family breeder just outside Spokane, Washington. We have been raising English Cream Golden Retrievers since 2009, and more than 1,300 puppies now live in loving homes.

This guide walks you through the full journey.

Meet the Family Behind the Puppies

We are Bart and Heather Orth, and we have been breeding English Creams for just over 16 years. It is an honor to help families find their next beloved companion.

Here is what sets our program apart:

• Every parent dog lives in a real home as a family pet, not in a kennel facility
• Comprehensive OFA and genetic panel testing on every breeding dog
• Daily, hands on socialization from birth until go home day
• AKC registered puppies

Families who browse Golden Retriever Puppies for Sale Spokane will find photos and bios of our moms and dads on the "Ladies" and "Gents" pages.

Your Path to a Puppy in 4 Steps

Our process is simple and clear. Here is how it works:

1. Reach out. Contact us to talk about upcoming litters, timing, and what you want in a companion.
2. Reserve your spot. Submit a $500 deposit to join our reservation list.
3. Follow along. Once your chosen litter is born, you receive weekly updates with photos and videos.
4. Choose and bring home. Make your selection and prepare for go home day at 8 weeks.

How the Waitlist Works

Our waitlist runs on a first come, first served basis. Your place is set by the order your deposit is received.

When a litter is born, families choose puppies in that same order. The earlier you reserve, the earlier you choose.

The waitlist fills up quickly, so reaching out early is wise. Many families reserve months ahead of a planned breeding so they do not miss the litter, gender, or color they want.

What You Pay and What You Receive

AKC registered males and females are $3,850 plus 8% sales tax.

Your puppy goes home with a full puppy packet that includes:

• Health records
• AKC paperwork
• Feeding guidance
• Ongoing support from our team

Each puppy is also vet checked by our veterinarian and covered by a 3 Year Hip, Elbow, Heart & Eye Guarantee.

Pickup or Shipping

You can bring your puppy home in two ways:

1. Local pickup: Many families drive or fly in to meet us and pick up their puppy near Spokane, WA. It is a wonderful way to see where your puppy was raised.
2. Nationwide shipping: We coordinate with trusted in cabin pet courier services. The courier accompanies your puppy on the flight and meets you at the airport of your choice.

Shipping to anywhere in the Continental US is charged at the cost of shipping based on location.

Choosing Your Puppy

Selection takes place at 8 weeks. Go home day is the same day, and it is typically a Friday.

You will know the exact date and time when the puppies are born. You can come to our home, or we can help you choose by FaceTime.

Planning Ahead for a Future Litter

If the timing is not right for a current litter, we are happy to talk about breeding plans further down the calendar. Our website lists fall litters with go home dates planned for October, November, and December.

Waiting does not mean being left out. After you reserve with Sweet Cream Goldens, you receive a confirmation email showing your place on the reservation list. Weekly updates follow once your litter is born.

Why Families Choose Us
